18-year-old woman taken by air ambulance after Bonneville County crash

BONNEVILLE COUNTY — An 18-year-old female was taken by aerial ambulance to nan infirmary connected Wednesday aft a two-vehicle crash.

The incident happened aft 1:15 p.m. connected U.S. Highway 26 astatine milepost 364 astatine Antelope Flat Road successful Bonneville County. 

The Roberts female was driving westbound connected U.S. 26 successful a 2015 Ford Edge. The Ford crossed nan halfway statement and collided pinch a 2010 Peterbilt dump motortruck driven by a 55-year-old man from Ammon, according to a news merchandise from Idaho State Police. 

ISP said nan female was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported by aerial ambulance to a section hospital. Her information and that of nan different driver were not fixed successful nan news release.

The westbound lanes person been blocked owed to emergency vehicles, nan merchandise said. 

Idaho State Police was assisted by nan Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, Air Idaho, Idaho Transportation Department, Jefferson QRU and nan Idaho Falls Fire Department.
