ASHTON — Idaho State Police is investigating a four-vehicle collision that occurred connected US 20 astatine milepost 354 astatine 2:47 p.m. connected Monday.

A achromatic 2011 Ford F150, driven by a 64-year-old antheral from Lucern Valley, California, and grey 2020 Toyota Tundra, driven by a 45-year-old female from Bozeman, Montana, were walking eastbound connected US 20. A grey 2018 Kia Sportage, driven by a 67-year-old female from St. Anthony, and a grey 2007 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 46-year-old female from St. Anthony, were walking westbound connected US 20.

The driver of nan Ford F150 was passing nan Toyota Tundra erstwhile it struck nan Kia Sportage head-on successful nan westbound lanes, causing nan Corolla to rear-end nan Kia. The Kia was rotated 180 degrees and pushed into nan eastbound lanes wherever it collided pinch nan Toyota Tundra.

The driver of nan Kia sustained captious injuries. The drivers of nan Kia and nan Ford pickup were transported via aerial to EIRMC. The rider of nan Tundra pickup and driver of nan Corolla were transported via crushed to Madison Memorial.

The roadway was blocked for astir three-and-a-half hours.

This incident remains nether investigation by nan Idaho State Police. ISP was assisted by Fremont County, St. Anthony fire, and Air Idaho.
