Bonneville DARE deputy honored as Law Enforcement Officer of the Year

IDAHO FALLS — Bonneville County Sheriff Deputy Justin Cornelsen was honored arsenic nan Law Enforcement Officer of nan Year by nan Greater Idaho Falls Police Foundation Thursday afternoon.

Cornelsen handles nan mostly of nan sheriff’s agency DARE programme and has taught thousands of students complete nan past decade. When he’s not teaching, he’s moving to coordinate graduations, stitchery supplies and he edits videos for each student to return home.

Cornelsen was 1 of 5 rule enforcement officers from nan Idaho Falls region honored during nan awards ceremonial at Melaleuca. MVP awards were presented to an Idaho Falls Police officer, Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputy, and Idaho State Police trooper, on pinch a Valor Award.
