GB Para-canoe team confirmed for Paris

Three reigning Paralympic champions person been named successful ParalympicsGB Para-canoe squad for this summer's Paris Games.

Emma Wiggs, Charlotte Henshaw and Laura Sugar will effort to take sides their VL2, KL2 and KL3 titles respectively.

Jeanette Chippington, who made her Paralympic debut successful Para-swimming successful Seoul 1988, will compete successful her eighth Games aft besides being named.

Jack Eyers and Ed Clifton will make their Paralympic debuts successful Paris.

“This is simply a life-long dream of mine," Eyers said. "Making it to Paris and getting to telephone myself a Paralympian intends everything to me.

"I’ve worked incredibly difficult nan past 3 years to gain my spot connected nan squad and I can’t hold to get retired to Paris and showcase what I tin do connected nan biggest stage.”

The Para-canoe events will return spot from 6-8 September.
