Inquest into Graham Thorpe's death opened

The inquest into nan decease of erstwhile England and Surrey cricketer Graham Thorpe has been opened and adjourned.

Mr Thorpe died aft being struck by a train connected 4 August astatine a railway station, nan little proceeding connected Tuesday heard.

The 55-year-old took his ain life successful Esher, Surrey, his woman Amanda Thorpe revealed previously.

The inquest was opened and adjourned astatine Woking coroners court.

The coroner offered sincere condolences to Mr Thorpe’s family and each those who had been touched by his life and career.

In an question and reply pinch nan Times, Mrs Thorpe said her hubby had been suffering from slump and worry complete caller years.
