Preston guardant Milutin Osmajic "has accepted" a Football Association complaint of convulsive behaviour for biting Blackburn Rovers defender Owen Beck, North End head Peter Ridsdale has said.
The incident followed Beck's sending disconnected successful nan closing stages of September's goalless Lancashire derby for kicking retired astatine Preston's Duane Holmes.
A melee followed, pinch Beck, 22, furiously protesting to referee Matthew Donohue that he had been bitten by Osmajic, who received a yellowish card.
Television replays appeared to show 25-year-old Osmajic had bitten Beck connected his precocious back.
Osmajic had until Monday to respond to nan complaint and Ridsdale told talkSPORT connected Tuesday that nan subordinate had "responded wrong nan clip frame".
Ridsdale added: "He has accepted nan complaint that nan FA put to him which was that he was seen to wound nan opposing subordinate successful nan crippled against Blackburn Rovers.
"We've already indicated to nan subordinate what we're doing. I want to support that evidently in-house but you tin beryllium assured that that's not thing that we condone arsenic a shot nine and we've taken due action."
Both nan FA and Preston declined to remark erstwhile approached by nan BBC.
Blackburn head John Eustace told BBC Radio Lancashire pursuing nan game: "Owen's sewage a large wound people connected nan backmost of his cervix and it's a shame nan referee didn't spot that."
