Search continues for 2 missing after boat capsizes near Akiak

A hunt remains underway for 2 missing passengers of a vessel that capsized Saturday connected nan Kuskokwim River adjacent Akiak.

According to an Alaska State Troopers online dispatch, different rider was capable to self-rescue, though nan subsister was unaware of nan location of nan different passengers.

Akiachak Tribal Police Chief Mark Mata, who is helping coordinate nan search, said Monday that volunteers had focused their hunt Sunday successful an area conscionable downriver of Akiak.
