Teen falls 50 feet down embankment while evading police, gets up and runs some more

AMERICAN FALLS — A teen who fell 50 feet down an embankment while moving from deputies continued to effort to get distant from them until she was hurt. 

The incident happened connected Tuesday astatine 10 p.m. A study was made to Power County dispatch that location was a one-vehicle mishap astatine nan extremity of Sparks Lane successful Power County. 

When deputies arrived, they saw respective group stepping around. However, rule enforcement noticed a 16-year-old woman commencement to run. A lawman ran aft her and tried to extremity her.

The teen went complete an embankment and fell astir 50 feet. She sewage up and continued to tally and past fell down a 2nd embankment, wherever she was injured, according to a news release. 

She was taken by ambulance to a section infirmary and past transported by aerial ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, wherever she is receiving treatment. 

Her sanction was not released owed to her being a minor.
